In November 2015 Riga private school ‘Maksima’ – our friends in Latvia – organised an annual open English language olympiad for secondary school students. The participants had to show their language proficiency in writing, speaking, and also solve puzzles and do some creative tasks.

In order to support this initiative, IH Malta decided to offer the organisers 10 vouchers for our summer school, worth between 300 and 500 euros.

The olympiad was a blast with lots of creative ideas, interesting presentations, and even a small teachers’ conference.

Now we are looking forward to seeing the participants in our summer school in Paradise Bay!
